about us

One of my mantras in life is,“be the person YOU needed when YOU were young.”This is why I strive to empower both women and girls. I am spirit-led and a Jesus fanatic. My background is in human resources in both healthcare and human services industries and career development in higher education. I obtained my PhD in Public Policy and Administration and a Masters in Business Administration. When I had my children I learned when you’re angry about something, do something! This is why I’m actively involved in my community and all things girl power. In addition to this podcast, I also created a girl empowerment website to boost the confidence and enocurage girls to be their authentic self called B.E.T.T.Y. I also wrote a children’s book titled, Dream Big, Shine Bright: Kaitlynn’s Dream” with my daughter. I have always been a champion for girls which is why I pursue an opportunities to help develop future girl leaders. I love to travel, dance, sing, and most importantly, spend time with my family.

I believe that both rain and shine are necessary for growth, and I have the courage to speak on issues that may help others with their breakthrough! I am a grounded and compassionate woman who loves and lives for her loving husband and 3 beautiful children. We enjoy our family traditions! My husband is my best friend and ultimate supporter. Born and raised in New Bedford Massachusetts I set the standard in challenging myself to become the best version of myself regardless of background or history. I am the oldest of 5 girls and fully enjoy quality time with my sisters. I'm currently a proud and successful top-producing Realtor in the Florida Sunshine State. We absolutely love living in Florida! The beaches, the warm weather and the lifestyle suit us well. I am deeply committed to serving my community and supporting foundations that make a difference in women's lives. Being guided by my strong faith in God, I have discovered my purpose in addition to surrounding myself with the most incredible people.
